Barbara Touati-Evans is interested in exploring connections and disconnections in human relationships through wool installations and sculptures.

She is developing a visual and textural language that explores the rich metaphorical associations of thread and yarn in human emotions, imagination and language.

Using the traditional craft of crochet and wool thread; she engages and collides diverse disciplines such as mathematics, meditation, feminism and neuroscience.

Born in 1971 in Nogent sur Marne France, she is based in Hampshire UK.
